Values

Being customer driven - the number one value at Fox Research Services. I want to understand your needs, respond to your concerns efficiently, and deliver high-quality research. So if you don’t like my standard approach, it can be changed.

Doing the right thing - I will act in an ethical manner because I believe it’s the right thing to do, and also because I understand that you don’t get ahead in the long term by bending the rules. I will always tell the truth and I won’t exaggerate. I’ll be fully transparent, honest about my strengths and weaknesses, and happy to tell you which aspects of a report or data set I have the highest and lowest confidence in.

Privacy - if you are doing an interview with me, I won’t quote any of your comments with your name unless this has been agreed in writing. Information about your own company that you share with me won’t be added to a report unless agreed otherwise, already publicly available, or widely known within the industry.

Low-carbon business - the most impactful thing I can do as an environmentalist who wants to reduce climate change and pollution is to assist companies that are selling clean tech such as electrified components and vehicles to sell more of their products. This approach carries through to the way I run the business also, working from a home office powered 90% by solar panels, driving an electric vehicle, and minimizing long-haul flights by working remotely and where possible taking one long trip per year rather than many short ones.

Artificial intelligence - no sentence in a report (or on this website) will be written by AI, but AI will proofread it, mainly to check for typos and fact check. AI is also used to search for information for reports, but mostly only to find sources and to give ideas now that AI tools have become more efficient than search engines for many use cases. AI will not write content or produce data.
